Discovered under a large stone slab with warrior written in Nordic runes, in the village of Repton, Derbyshire, England on the 17th March 1967. Repton was the winter camp for a great heathen army in 873-874 AD.

Our warrior most likely died in battle due to the wounds which can be seen on his remains.
